We’ve built a reputation for solving the most unique custom label and flexible packaging-related challenges.
Founded in 1997 and based in Colorado, Primeflex Labels, Inc. uses a problem-solving approach to tackle your custom label needs. Historically, we’ve focused on labels for food and beverages, cosmetics, consumer products, and meat products. Along the way, we expanded into flexible packaging. All with a focus toward using earth friendly technology, materials and products.
Primeflex has enjoyed steady growth for the past two decades thanks to long-time satisfied clients, an ability to see packaging through a consumer’s eyes, and our commitment to provide a supportive workplace. Many of our most skilled employees relocated to Colorado from around the country to join the Primeflex team.

Primeflex is led by two printing industry veterans with a combined 50-plus years of experience.
Tom Cummings is the President and original founder. Having previously worked for two of the largest printing companies in the country, he’s learned the value of offering innovative solutions and providing impeccable customer service. As Tom says, “We’ll do what it takes to make it right…even if it means starting over.”
Vice President and co-founder Michael Martin shares Tom’s dual passions for package printing/labeling innovation and unparalleled customer care. After serving in several leadership positions within the packaging industry, he teamed up with Tom in 1997 to co-found Primeflex. In his spare time, Michael enjoys Colorado’s outdoor recreation opportunities and he’s been active with Junior Achievement and The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to serving as a unique solutions partner to customers, the Primeflex team also supports local community involvement projects, such as sponsoring Colorado’s thriving natural products industry through Naturally Boulder and participating in the leadership council for Women in Packaging and Manufacturing.
